Mony Zenou, President & CEO of Lipman USA, panelist on Alexander
Haig's World Business Review. Host, Alexander Haig, former Secretary of State for
President Reagan and former COO and president of United Technologies discusses
"Electronic Payment Systems." "Lipman was selected to appear on the program due to its advanced wireless point-of-sale technology," said Clayton Haggit, the show's coordinating producer. Mr. Zenou appeared on World Business Review to discuss the development, production and marketing of microprocessor-based electronic equipment and computerized systems for advanced applications that call for the incorporation of optical imaging and scanning technologies. "Our objective is to keep ahead of the competition through innovative action. Our business philosophy is to provide our clients with the most reliable, technologically advanced and most cost-effective product available," said Zenou. The NURIT 3010 is a hand-held point-of-sale terminal/electronic data capture terminal that is completely wireless and handles most every credit/debit transaction possible, including loyalty cards and chip-based smart cards. By mid year Lipman will introduce the Nurit 8000, which is a pocket size hand- held terminal, printer, secure pin pad and smart card reader all in one. Among other features this terminal will be also equipped with TCP IP communication protocol, signature capture and depending on the network it's used with a phone. Diamond Cutters of Western New York in Buffalo utilizes another of Lipman USA's products, the NURIT 2090. With wireless features as well as all of the point-of-sale capabilities as store-bound units, the 2090 allows Diamond Cutters to transact business at trade shows. As such shows make up a large component of its revenues, having secure, safe, non-cash sale execution capabilities is extremely beneficial. Here is a direct link to the show : |
