TERMINAL CONTROL CENTER (TCC):
TCC software provides support personnel with a straightforward method of programming the NURIT 2050, 2060, 2070, 2080 and future NURIT terminals with Electronic Draft Capture (EDC) Host Applications and Merchant Selected Parameters. The TCC software allows the NURIT terminal to be programmed remotely via a telephone line and modem. This capability greatly facilitates merchant support. Additionally, the TCC software provides a capability to program the NURIT terminals locally at a Support Center. The TCC software can operate in either a DOS or OS/2 environment. The TCC is a user friendly software of pull-down menu boxes, menu bars, point-and- select highlight bar, slider bars and item number select user interface that is fully operational from the computer keyboard or mouse.

TCC SOFTWARE CAPABILITIES/FEATURES
>	Application Software Download: The EDC host application software download from the TCC provides the NURIT terminal with certified Credit, Debit and Check protocols for communication and transaction processing with various combinations of Hosts.
>	Parameter Download: The TCC parameter download customizes the NURIT in accordance with the merchant's operational requirements and preferences.
>	Service Log for each terminal based on the merchant's manager card or serial number for the NURIT terminal.
>	Communication menus to facilitate setting up PC/NURIT communications.
>	EDC host application software data base for downloading.
>	Automatic data base generation that keeps track of software and hardware versions installed on the NURIT terminals.

NURIT OPERATION SYSTEM (NOS):

The NOS is the platform which allows your terminal to be programmed with applications and protocols

NURIT APPLICATIONS:
Is the modular software that is programmed into your NURIT POS terminal which specifies the industry type for processing.
>	Direct Market (DM): Application catered to direct market and other manual credit entry wholesalers and retailer. Includes Address Verification System (AVS).
>	Retail (RT): This is your standard retail application.
>	Retail w/internal Pin Pad (RTP): Standard retail application with internal Pin Pad, this application is used with terminals that do not have enough memory to utilize an RTA application. Due to the addition of the internal Pin Pad, many normally available options are not available.
>	Retail w/internal Pin Pad (RTA): Full retail application with internal Pin Pad. Internal Pin Pad without loss of options.
>	Retail or Direct Marketing w/internal Pin Pad (RDA): Full Retail or Direct Marketing (DM) application with internal Pin Pad. This application can be downloaded as Retail or Direct Marketing. Terminal must be downloaded if change of application requested
>	Restaurant (RS): Restaurant application which allows for the capturing of tips.
>	Restaurant w/internal Pin Pad (RSA): Restaurant application with internal Pin Pad without loss of options
>	Bar (BR): Restaurant application with opening and closing tab capabilites in addition to regular restaurant functions.
>	Script w/internal Pin Pad (SCP): Allows terminal to function as an ATM machine with built-in Pin Pad, whereas a receipt is given that is redeemed for cash at the register.
>	ATM w/internal Pin Pad (ATM): Full ATM capabilities, this application is only used on the Nurit 5000 & 5050. It is a true ATM which debits account and dispenses cash immediately. Transfers and selection of account to be debitted programmable.
>	Visa Easy Pay (EZ): This application supports the Visa Easy Pay system which allows for recurring payments without multiple authorization signatures.
>	Visa Easy Pay w/internal Pin Pad (EZP): This application supports the Visa Easy Pay system which allows for recurring payments without multiple authorization signatures, including an internal Pin Pad.

NURIT PROTOCOLS:

Protocols are the host specific message formats that your POS terminal uses to communicate with your Host network These downloadable files instruct your terminal which network to call and how to send to and receive data from the afforementioned host.

BRIDGE:
The Bridge is a PC based program operating in a Windows 3.1 environment. The program allows communication between the NURIT 2050 cash/draft register and downloading/uploading of parameters and transactions. It is a user friendly system of pull-down boxes, point and select icons and highlight of user selections. The program is to be installed in a PC that is connected via the telephone network to a group of NURIT 2050 ECRs for the purpose of uploading transactions and downloading Price Look-Up (PLU) list and Departments list. Such configuration of PC/NURIT 2050 connection may be used by chain stores or department stores.
